Blót
Opened in winter 2017 on a lane in old Canillo, Blót - Craft Beer & Food brought the Viking spirit to the Pyrenees: raw wood, communal tables, a fireplace and live music several nights a week. Founded by Carla Patroni and Lucas Bague, the project grew until it brewed its own beers in Andorra, at the La Cortinada facility, under Norse names such as Valkiria IPA, Drakkar Red Ale, Hati Stout and Mani Lager. With a second restaurant in Andorra la Vella and a smash-burger menu built for après-ski appetites, Blót has become the principality's craft landmark and an essential festive stop on any trip to Canillo and the surrounding valleys.
Boris Craft Beer
Opened in 2018 in La Cortinada, in the green Ordino valley, the Boris Brewery is one of the very few beer factories actually operating on Andorran soil. Taken over in 2025 by Carla Patroni and Lucas Bague, the founders of Blót, it has become the brewing heart of the duo: this is where brewer Leandro crafts the Boris and Blót ranges, with reworked recipes and production now carried out entirely within the principality. The adjoining brewpub lets visitors taste the beers at the source, close to the trails and Romanesque churches of Ordino, making this discreet address an essential stop in the young craft scene of the Andorran Pyrenees.
Cervesa Alpha Andorra
Founded in 2011 by Antoni Medina, Cervesa Alpha is the first craft brewery in Andorra's history. Housed in Borda Callisa, an old mountain barn at Mas de Ribafeta in Arinsal, it claims exceptionally pure Pyrenean water as the signature of its beers, including a series dedicated to the country's seven parishes. On site, the small taproom above the brewhouse offers tastings, beer pairings, guided tours and brewing workshops in a family atmosphere that has earned a cult following among visitors. Drinking an Alpha, its founders say, is drinking a piece of the Andorran landscape: it is hard to sum up this pioneering microbrewery any better than that.
