Born at East Coast Organics, an award-winning organic farm in Pencaitland, Newt Brew settled in late 2021 in Musselburgh, eight minutes by train from Edinburgh. There, Mike hand-brews batches of 200 to 1,000 litres, certified organic, unfined and unfiltered, blending traditional methods with modern equipment. Ales, lagers and stouts reach the pubs and bottle shops of Edinburgh and the Lothians in bottle, cask and can, and the brewery welcomes visits by appointment. An ethical, close-to-home microbrewery embodying the most artisanal face of east-coast craft.
