About this brewery
On the Kassari peninsula in southern Hiiumaa, Hiiu Õlle Koda occupies a handsomely restored grain dryer from 1885, now tavern, shop and beer museum in one. Here you can watch how a small Estonian brewery works and get hands-on with the islands' koduõlu farmhouse tradition, which this brewpub sets in dialogue with modern craft brewing. The museum hall displays old brewing equipment, while the tavern serves house beers and products from Hiiumaa's finest artisans, to take away or to savour through a soft Kassari summer evening.
