Bryggerifestivalen: Craft Beer in Trondheim, Norway

Norway's brewing revival has been one of the quieter transformations in European beer, moving from a state-controlled market to a country with breweries in almost every valley. Trondheim sits near the centre of that story, and the Bryggerifestivalen brings the region's producers together from 6 to 8 August 2026. The city is Norway's third largest and its medieval capital, built around the Nidaros Cathedral and a working harbour, which gives the festival an unusually handsome setting even by Nordic standards.
