Pertsinidis Brewery

In Kozani, capital of Greek saffron and of a Western Macedonia better known for its lignite mines than its brew kettles, the three Pertsinidis brothers — Thomas, Dimitris and Giorgos — made a rare bet: staying home and founding their own brewery, convinced that the future of beer in Greece is exceptionally promising. Their family house is today the spearhead of craft brewing in a region the movement has barely touched, between Lake Polyfytos, the Siatista vineyards and the stone villages of Voio.
