Mikrofonbryggeriet

In Gothenburg, in Västra Götaland, Mikrofonbryggeriet distinguished itself with a more offbeat personality, linked to its musician founder, before becoming Duckpond Brewing in August 2019. Open sources also indicate that the former entity is no longer operating under that name. Among its most recognisable brews are Banana Split IPA, with its indulgent character, and Blue Hawaiian Sour, a fruity Berliner Weisse with a highly expressive identity; the brewery has also produced hoppier collaborations, reaching up to 8.8% ABV in some double NEIPAs. The common thread remains that of creative, pop-inspired and aromatically generous craft beer, very representative of the Gothenburg brewing scene of the late 2010s.
