Birrificio Abusivo

Tucked away in Domagnano, on the edge of the Republic of San Marino, Birrificio Abusivo brews with a mischievous nod to the clandestine. Founded around 2015 by five friends — engineers, a food technologist, a bartender and a gardener — who turned from homebrewers into brewers out of sheer passion, it proudly owns its garage origins and an anti-prohibitionist streak. Its beers wear knowing names: Speak Easy (an italian pils), Illecita (a bitter, second at Birra dell'anno 2016), Segreta (a hefeweizen) and Ambigua (a pale ale). Strictly European raw materials and relentless experimentation are the hallmarks of a micro-brewer who turns every tasting into shared pleasure.
