Wasted Degrees Brewing

Brothers Conall and Jack Low launched Wasted Degrees in 2016 in Pitlochry before settling in Blair Atholl, in a brewery powered entirely by renewables — one of the few in Scotland brewing with locally grown hops. Their gold-medal Amber Rye, pale ales and barrel-aged imperial stout sit alongside a dry Perthshire cider, best enjoyed at the seasonal taproom famed for its pizzas and BBQ, five minutes from the train station. Multi-award-winning and growing fast, the brewery is preparing its return to Pitlochry with a new site and taproom in late 2026.
