In Jonsered, near Gothenburg (Västra Götaland), Poppels Bryggeri has established itself as a benchmark for modern Swedish craft beer. Pale Ale (~5.4%) blends grapefruit, caramel and pine; IPA (~6.5%) emphasises tropical fruits and bitterness; Imperial Stout (~9.5%) develops notes of dark chocolate and coffee with a full body. Larger-scale production does not compromise precision: controlled hopping, clean fermentation and consistent profiles. A brewery that successfully combines volume and quality without compromise.
