In Uppsala, Jackdaw Brewery has long embodied the spirit of a nano-brewery: small-scale, with a distinct artisanal identity and a primarily local distribution. Open-source information confirms the existence of a taproom and brewing activity in Uppsala, as well as a closure mentioned in 2023. As for the beers, public data is more fragmentary, but Argousier clearly stands out as a 12% saison, a top-fermented beer with a more vinous and experimental profile than a classic farmhouse ale.
