Glen Spean Brewing Co

In the carefully restored 19th-century steading of Tirindrish, on the edge of Spean Bridge, three neighbours — Ian Peter, James and Lucy — have brewed since 2018 with the soft waters of Lochaber, looking out to the Grey Corries and Ben Nevis. Their work was crowned "Best Beer" at the Highlands and Islands Food & Drink Awards as early as 2019, with a range running from Highbridge IPA to Snowgoose lager. The Cellar Door shop rounds out the experience with local whiskies, gins and a hand-picked cellar of small-producer wines — a charming stop on the Great Glen road, nine miles from Fort William.
