Fyne Ales

At the head of a spectacular glen, where Loch Fyne meets the hills of Argyll, Fyne Ales has been brewing since 2001 on a family farm worked for six generations. Its Jarl, a much-garlanded Citra golden ale, has become a modern classic of the Scottish repertoire, surrounded by a range spanning crisp session ales, farmhouse saisons and barrel-aged specials. The taproom with its sunny courtyard, the brewery shop, pies made with the estate's own Highland beef and weekend tours make it a destination in its own right — capped each summer by FyneFest, the festival that gathers the best of British craft in the glen.
