Ardgour Ales Ltd

Ten minutes' walk from the Corran Ferry, on the west shore of Loch Linnhe, Ardgour Ales — Leann Àird Ghobhar in Gaelic — brews in the hamlet's old rectory cask ales of stated purity: choice malted barley, whole hop flowers, hill water and locally generated hydro power. No filtering, no centrifuging, no hop extracts: just traditional brewing skill and a fresh, wholesome product. The house also bakes its own artisan bread, in the same spirit of local simplicity. A stop outside time between Fort William, Glencoe and the wild Ardnamurchan peninsula.
