From 4 to 6 September 2026, the Parco dell'Acqua in Rapolano Terme, in the province of Siena, Tuscany, hosts the 20th edition of the Villaggio della Birra, the international festival of small breweries first held in 2006. This anniversary edition coincides with thirty years of Italian craft beer.
Twenty-five producers from Belgium, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States, Norway, Sweden and Spain pour their beers, bringing together great European brewing traditions and the contemporary craft scene. The programme includes guided tastings and workshops led by Lorenzo "Kuaska" Dabove, a leading figure of Italian beer culture, along with live music and a food area serving street food and local specialities.
Entry to the festival is free. To taste, visitors buy the official glass and tokens, with each beer priced in tokens according to its style. Opening hours: Friday 6 pm to 1 am, Saturday noon to 1 am, Sunday noon to 11 pm.
