"For one week each September, Nantes puts craft beer front and centre. Nantes Sous Pression, the city's artisanal beer festival, runs from 7 to 13 September 2026, turning bars, cellars and taprooms across town into a sprawling celebration before its grand finale.
The format is what makes it special. Rather than a single hall, the first days spread some forty events through partner venues: tap takeovers, meet-the-brewer evenings, tastings and workshops dotted around Nantes. The week then converges on the Solilab on 12 and 13 September, where more than forty French and international breweries gather under one roof with food, music and animations. It is a chance to taste widely and talk directly with the makers.
Organised by the Nantes Beer Club association, the festival has grown into the region's autumn highlight for craft enthusiasts, balancing serious beer with an easy, welcoming atmosphere.
