Every summer, the city of Kassel hosts one of the events in the German beer market network right in the city centre. From 2 to 4 July 2026, dozens of open-air stalls will offer over a hundred beers from Germany and around the world: from regional classics such as Pils and Weissbier to creations from small craft breweries, as well as international brands. Entry is free; visitors can sample beers by the glass as they wander from stall to stall, in a relaxed atmosphere accompanied by music and tasty snacks. This family-friendly, accessible market-style format is typical of the Bierbörsen in northern and central Germany, which bring town squares to life throughout the summer months.
