Bad Seed Beer Fest: Jutland's Best in Aalborg

Aalborg has an industrial past and a young population, and its beer festival reflects both. Bad Seed Beer Fest returns for a sixth edition on 14 and 15 August 2026 at the Studenterhuset, the student house in the city centre, and its organisers describe it without much modesty as Jutland's best beer festival. The ambition is specific: to build the best possible experience for guests rather than the biggest possible attendance, which in practice means a curated list of breweries and a venue that keeps things intimate. Aalborg sits on the Limfjord in northern Jutland, three hours by train from Copenhagen and within reach of the Skagen coast where the two seas meet. The city's own brewing history runs through Aalborg Akvavit as much as beer, and its old town along Jomfru Ane Gade is a short walk from the venue.
