Ayrshire Beer & Cider Festival 2026: Scottish Ale in Troon

The breezy seaside town of Troon, better known for its championship golf links, also hosts one of Scotland's most enjoyable autumn beer gatherings. The Ayrshire Beer & Cider Festival, organised by Ayrshire & Wigtownshire CAMRA, spreads across the Concert Hall and Walker Hall and brings together a broad selection of real ales, ciders and perries in a relaxed, community setting. The 2026 festival runs from Thursday 1 to Saturday 3 October, offering several sessions so visitors can pick a quieter afternoon or a busier evening. Scottish brewing has enjoyed a remarkable renaissance, and the line-up reflects that energy, with beers from local and national breweries sitting alongside guests from further afield.
