On the Atlantic road between St Ives and St Just, this yellow-walled inn appears less like a planned stop than a weather marker: a bright square of human shelter against moor, sea-haze and granite field walls. The Gurnard’s Head is officially a dining pub with rooms, but its force comes from the exposed Cornish setting as much as the kitchen.
