Johnnie's Beer (Makedoniki Mikrozythopoiia Dramas)

In Mikrochori, a village at the foot of the mountains ringing Drama, the Macedonian Microbrewery of Drama — Johnnie's Beer — brews a clean lager and a generous weiss, designed from the start for export as much as for the region's cafés. In this town of running waters, famous for the Agia Varvara springs, its wine festival and the nearby Kokkinogeia cellars, Johnnie's adds a beer argument to a terroir already renowned for its vineyards.
