Trenčin

The Trenčín Region, in western Slovakia, borders the Czech Republic and the Žilina, Banská Bystrica, Nitra and Trnava regions. Its capital is Trenčín, and it covers about 4,500 km². The White Carpathians (Biele Karpaty) and the Váh River are located there.
