Nitra
The Nitra Region, in south-western Slovakia, borders Hungary and the Trenčín, Banská Bystrica and Trnava regions. Its capital is Nitra, and it has 7 districts over about 6,300 km². Established in 1996, it includes the Tribeč mountains and the Nitra River.
