Banská Bystrica
The Banská Bystrica Region, in central Slovakia, borders Hungary and the Žilina, Prešov, Košice, Nitra and Trenčín regions. Its administrative centre is Banská Bystrica, and it covers about 9,500 km². Low Tatras National Park and the Hron River are both located there.
