Algarve
The Algarve lies on the Atlantic Ocean to the south and west and borders the Alentejo to the north; to the east, the Guadiana separates it from Spain. Its capital is Faro, and its sixteen municipalities have around 467,500 inhabitants over 5,000 km². The Ria Formosa Natural Park is located there.
