West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland, borders Germany and the Baltic Sea. Its capital is Szczecin, and it has 21 counties (powiats). Created in 1999 from the former Szczecin and Koszalin voivodeships, it includes Wolin National Park and Drawa National Park.
