Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, borders Germany and the voivodeships of West Pomerania, Greater Poland and Lower Silesia. The voivode sits in Gorzów Wielkopolski and the regional assembly in Zielona Góra. Its area is about 14,000 km², and it has 14 counties (powiats).
