Ostfold

Østfold is a county (fylke) in south-eastern Norway, on the Oslofjord, bordering Akershus and Sweden; it has existed again since 2024. It had about 298,000 inhabitants in 2019; its seat is Sarpsborg. It includes the fortified old town of Fredrikstad and the Borg brewery, founded in 1855 in Sarpsborg.
