The Isle of Wight is a ceremonial county off England's south coast, separated from Hampshire by the Solent. It has about 142,000 inhabitants; its administrative centre is Newport. It has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 2019 and includes the Needles, three chalk stacks.
