Satakunta

Satakunta is a region of western Finland, on the Bothnian Sea, bordering Southwest Finland, Pirkanmaa, South Ostrobothnia and Ostrobothnia. It has about 210,000 inhabitants (Statistics Finland, 2025); its capital is Pori. It includes Old Rauma and the Sammallahdenmäki Bronze Age burial site, both UNESCO sites.
