Central Finland

Central Finland (Keski-Suomi) is a landlocked region of Finland, bordering Päijät-Häme, Pirkanmaa, South Ostrobothnia, Central Ostrobothnia, Northern Ostrobothnia and the two Savo regions. It has about 274,000 inhabitants (2024); its capital is Jyväskylä. It includes the Petäjävesi Old Church, a UNESCO site.
