Extremadura

Extremadura is an autonomous community in western Spain with no sea coast, bordering Portugal. Its capital is Mérida, and its two provinces, Cáceres and Badajoz, have around 1,055,000 inhabitants over 41,600 km². Monfragüe National Park is located there. The Tagus and the Guadiana flow through it.
