Capital City Region

The Capital Region (Hovedstaden) is an administrative region of Denmark, in the north of the island of Zealand, on the Øresund, and on the island of Bornholm, in the Baltic Sea. It has about 1.93 million inhabitants (1 January 2025); its seat is Hillerød. It includes Kronborg Castle, a UNESCO site.
