Uri
Uri is a German-speaking canton in central Switzerland, bordering Graubünden, Ticino, Valais, Bern, Obwalden, Nidwalden, Schwyz and Glarus. It has about 38,000 inhabitants on 1,076 km²; its capital is Altdorf. The Gotthard Pass is crossed there by rail and road tunnels.
