Nidwalden

Nidwalden is a German-speaking canton in central Switzerland, on the southern shore of Lake Lucerne, bordering Lucerne, Schwyz, Obwalden and Uri. It has about 45,000 inhabitants on 276 km²; its capital is Stans. It includes the Bürgenstock and the Stanserhorn, and Pilatus Aircraft is its largest employer.
