Appenzell Innerrhoden
Appenzell Innerrhoden is a canton in north-eastern Switzerland, surrounded by the canton of St. Gallen and Appenzell Ausserrhoden. A small Alpstein canton shaped by dairy farming and cheese, it has about 16,500 inhabitants; its main town is Appenzell. It shares the Säntis, and Locher brewery makes Appenzeller beer.
