The Three Hills, Bartlow

Bartlow is the kind of village that makes the map look busier than the road feels, with ancient burial mounds nearby and the pub sitting where lanes meet fields. Drivers come from the A11 or A1307 via Linton, or from Saffron Walden through gentler back roads; the final approach is narrow, rural and unlit in parts. Public transport is weak, so a taxi must be planned rather than hoped for.
