The Ramsholt Arms

The Deben does not give up its prettiest corners to hurried drivers, and the road to Ramsholt proves it: lanes taper, hedges close, and suddenly the river opens below the pub. Approach from Woodbridge via the B1083 and local roads through Sutton or Shottisham; the last stretch is narrow and occasionally muddy-edged after rain. Parking is available but not infinite on bright summer evenings, while public transport is effectively impractical.
