The Plough at Bolnhurst

North of Bedford, the B660 runs through a quieter Bedfordshire of clay fields, open sky and villages that never quite became suburbs. The Plough sits on Kimbolton Road at Bolnhurst, reached from the A6, A1 or A421 depending on direction; the last miles are rural and simple but not well served by public transport. Bedford station is the practical railhead, followed by a taxi.
