Drivers come in from the A149 or A1151 through Stalham, then follow narrower lanes into Hickling; the last stretch is flat, reed-fringed and vulnerable to slow-moving visitor traffic in summer. Parking is close by but not limitless, and public transport is thin enough that non-drivers should treat taxis as part of the plan.
