Dinkelland, in the province of Overijssel, has borne its name since 2002 and has around 26,700 inhabitants on 177 km². The Singraven water mill in Denekamp was already painted by Meindert Hobbema in the 17th century, and the Natura Docet museum was founded there in 1911.
