Watten is a French commune in the Nord department (Hauts-de-France), in Maritime Flanders, on the Aa river. It has around 2,600 inhabitants on 7 km². The Mont de Watten, 72 m high, carries the tower of the former abbey of Notre-Dame du Mont, founded in 1072.
