Nogent-le-Rotrou is a commune in the Perche and a subprefecture of Eure-et-Loir (Centre-Val de Loire), 52 km west of Chartres. It has around 9,300 inhabitants on 23 km². The Huisne flows through it and the 11th-century keep of Château Saint-Jean overlooks the town.
