Montreuil-sur-Ille is a commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department (Brittany), about 25 km north of Rennes, on the Ille. It has around 2,400 inhabitants and covers 15 km². The Ille-et-Rance Canal, opened in 1834, runs along the commune and links Rennes with Dinan.
