Méteren is a French commune in the Nord department (Hauts-de-France), in French Flanders, within the arrondissement of Dunkirk. It has around 2,300 inhabitants on 18 km², 3 km from Bailleul. The church of Saints-Pierre-et-Paul, built between 1923 and 1927, replaced the building destroyed during the war.
