Manosque is a French commune in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur) and its most populous town. It has around 23,000 inhabitants on 56.7 km², above the alluvial plain of the Durance. The Saunerie and Soubeyran gates survive from the old town walls.
