Locoal-Mendon is a commune in Morbihan (Brittany), in the arrondissement of Lorient, west of Auray. It has around 3,500 inhabitants and has combined the former parishes of Locoal and Mendon since 1806. The Étel river, on whose left bank it lies, borders its territory to the west.
