La Couture is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department (Hauts-de-France), in the Béthune arrondissement, north-east of the town of Béthune. It has around 2,600 inhabitants and covers 14 km². Its flat territory, at 15 to 20 metres above sea level, is crossed by the Lawe, a tributary of the Lys.
