Crolles is a French commune in the Isère département (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes), in the arrondissement of Grenoble, 20 km northeast of the city. It has around 8,600 inhabitants on 14 km², in the Grésivaudan on the right bank of the Isère, below the Dent de Crolles (2,062 m), a peak of the Chartreuse.
