In the Lahn valley between the Westerwald and the Taunus, Weilburg is a town in Hesse, in the Limburg-Weilburg district, just upstream of where the Weil flows into the Lahn. It had about 13,000 inhabitants at the end of 2024 on some 58 km², with ten districts (Stadtteile) around the core town.
