At the entrance to the Rench valley, at the edge of the Upper Rhine plain, Renchen is a town in the Ortenaukreis (Baden-Württemberg). It had about 7,500 inhabitants at the end of 2023 and covers some 32 km². It borders, among others, Achern, Kappelrodeck, Oberkirch and Appenweier.
